1	Toronto	" Jairzinho	SP	20	Toronto's once dominant, young rotation is in the prime of their career-in Los Angeles. The loss of the legendary rxk192 as GM has left Toronto in shambles, and an elite young arm with arguably the highest ceiling in the entire class is an excellent starting place for the new reign in the Canadian East.
2	San Francisco	Richard Stearman	SP	24	The Giants have benefited tremendously from winning the 2nd Pick in the lottery, as they are close to a playoff spot with their talented young roster. Although they have plenty of pitching already, their top arms are beginning to reach the prime of their careers, and Stearman is much more polished than most of the pitchers in this class. In all seriousness, this pick allows San Francisco to package some of their other arms for an impact bat to add to their lineup, allowing them to become not just contenders, but a World Series Threat in 2038.
3	Washington	Saturo Kishino	LF	22	Washington has a promising young core, but lacks an impact bat behind 2037 RoY finalists Ervin Gore and Joshua Kincade. They also have a rather full outfield, but nobody else who is an elite superstar at the plate. Kishino has high upside, and, though a boom or bust talent, is certainly justifiable at #3.
4	St. Louis	Ridell Foster	SS	24	There is a budding elite rotation in St. Louis, but very little offensive firepower to supplement it. Former 2nd Round Pick Ryu Saito looks like a steal, and a superstar in the making at only 21, and Hernando Cortez XVII also looks to have a promising future, but without an impact middle infielder, the Cardinals will continue to struggle to compete. Foster is 24, but provides a rare offensive impact at shortstop for the forseeable future.
5	Mexico City	William Gasket	SP	22	Mexico City needs a lot of help in a lot of places, so picking up a young arm with good upside is the smartest pick they can make.
6	Chicago Cubs	Artemis Allen	RF	22	Mike Trout Jr. currently patrols right field for the Cubs, but it is hard to pass up on a switch hitter with this kind of upside. Trout and Tino Morales have 2/3 of the outfield covered for now, and Allen gives Chicago a deep trio of hitters.
7	Atlanta	Evan Hardy	SP	20	This is a team completely devoid of high end prospects, they need to take the best ceiling available, and that falls to Hardy. He will need to work on his control however, as he has a tendency to try to out throw the opposition rather than out pitch them.
8	Texas	Matt Doherty	SP	24	Texas has a bunch of high caliber offensive veterans, but their rotation is in shambles. Doherty may be the piece that brings them back to the playoffs next year.
9	San Antonio (from SEO)	Train Minh	3B	23	The Alamos are good. Very good. But veteran Bobby Bronze is aging, and Minh is an instant upgrade at the hot corner. This is really a no brainer with all of the elite arms off the board.
10	Atlanta (from SAN)	Gonzo McKnight	CF	20	Atlanta lucked out getting two Top 10 picks, which helps jumpstart their rebuild. They will pair their 20 year old starter with a 20 year old hitter with this pick. McKnight is a gold glove fielder with offensive upside, and has shown his capacity to come up big in the clutch. This is an excellent pick that gives Atlanta a bright future.
11	Chicago White Sox (from DET)	Ramon Marchena	RP	23	Khalil Green Jr. looks like a steal at #7 last year, and the ChiSox don't really have any gaping holes in their lineup. I think they go off the board a bit here and grab the best reliever in the class to give them an elite top 3 in the bullpen, with Yu Tang and Evander McNabb both under 25. This pick is a bit of a wildcard, and they could go in a number of directions, but rather than overstocking their offense, and wasting a young talent sitting on the bench for half a decade, the smartest decision would be adding an impact player for NEXT season.
12	Seoul (from VAN)	Andrew Whalen	CF	24	Seoul doesn't have a ton of holes either, with their core still young and improving. An upgrade over Ali Vasheer is necessary, however, and getting two years younger at catcher is never a bad thing.
13	Los Angeles Angels	Francis Bouchard	LF	22	It is hard to pass up on a switch hitter with offensive upside, and with the upper eschelon of offensive stars pretty much off the board, the Angels grab some excellent depth in the outfield.
14	New York Mets	Trang Pak	1B	20	Former MVP Kila Ka'aihue II is not aging gracefully, and Pak is a unique asset at first base. He offers speed, Gold Glove fielding, and a plate discipline beyond his years. It is difficult to pass up this kind of unique skillset to have at first base for the next decade plus.
15	Minnesota	Romulus Rex	SP	23	It is difficult to pass up the best starter on the board at this point, although continued criticism of Rex' consistency makes this pick a risk even this high up in the draft.
16	Shanghai	Emelio Murphy	LF	24	Shanghai's biggest need lies in the middle infield, but with no prospects ranked this high at those positions, rather than reach, they should take the best player left on the board. That is Murphy, who is a bit older, but still has enough upside to be a quality player for the Crowned Cranes.
17	Seattle	Kentarious Burt	SP	22	Seattle missed the playoff for the first time in 6 years, much in part to their shotty rotation. The one bright spot was last year's first round pick, Danny Rose, who ended up a finalist for the AL Rookie of the Year. It is a no brainer to add more quality youth to the rotation for next year, and Burt is the best available.
18	Cinncinati	Draco Lilly-Tran	RP	23	Cincy has very few holes, so adding a young reliever that will help their bullpen immediately AND for the future is a great pick this late in the round.
19	Philadelphia	Carlos Quieroz	SP	23	This is where things get interesting, because Philly's holes cannot be filled at this point of the draft. Quieroz is a high risk, high reward player, but that is what the latter half of the 1st Round will become.
20	Baltimore	Jasper Richardson	RF	20	With their outfield aging quickly, the Orioles grab a high ceiling 20 year old to develop behind their veterans for the next few years.
21	Cinncinati (from ARI)	Roldan Jacinto	1B	20	This isn't really a need for Cincy, but he is an upgrade in ceiling over their two current first baseman, and is an excellent trading assets for the future.
22	Los Angeles Dodgers	Ethan Ebanks-Lendell	SP	20	Stop me if you've heard this one before - rxk takes an off the board pitcher late in the 1st Round. The rotation is excellent, but there isn't much youth in the wings for the Dodgers, so grabbing a depth 20 year old is a smart pick.
23	Houston	Kyrie Elma	LF	20	Elma is quick, has a solid glove, and can contribute with the bat. His biggest knock is consistency, but he is the best outfielder available for an Astros squad who is severely lacking in prospect depth at that position.
24	Boston	Graciano Rosendo	3B	20	Boston needs to have a quality prospect at the hot corner for when Marcel Jakubowicz finally kicks the bucket offensively.
25	New York Yankees	Alejandro Vesta	CF	20	The Yankees only have two rostered outfielders, so adding a 20 year old this late can be considered a steal.
26	Tokyo	Toomas Hendrik	RP	23	It is difficult to pass up on a reliever who is able to restrict hits as well as Hendrik, but this is boom or bust for Tokyo, as his soft throwing style could prove ineffective at the next level.
27	Chicago White Sox	Maki Tall	SP	22	Tall is another power pitcher who struggles with control, but his upside ultimately will mean he likely is taken higher than this.
28	Montreal	Scott Goulborne	SP	22	Goulborne has decent upside, but will struggle early in his career. Regardless, he is the best player on the board, and that's all Montreal can do this late in the round.
